Rev. Mark Lilly
Mark Lilly is the pastor of First United Methodist Church of Pace. He began serving this church in July 2017. Mark received his Masters of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in December 2000. He returned to the Alabama-West Florida Conference in June of 2001 and has served First UMC in Fort Walton Beach, Wesley Memorial UMC of Opelika, Cloverdale UMC of Dothan, and First UMC of Opp. He has also served as Chaplain with the Dothan Police Department, Houston County Sheriff Department and the Opp Police Department.
Mark is the proud husband of Jill and proud father of four sons: Colten (who serves with the US Coast Guard), twins Aidan and Dalton, 16 years old (juniors in high school) and Kynan, 14 years old (8th grade).  
His life verse since he was a teenager has been Isaiah 26:4.

Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock.” (NRSV)

Vivian Dickerson joined the ministry team at Pace FUMC in June 2015, as the Children’s director. She grew up in Chapel Hill, N.C. (a true Tarheel). She earned her BA in Christian Education from Asbury University in Wilmore, Ky. Vivian has lived in the Pensacola area for the past 20 years. She has 2 grown children — Stephen, who lives in Gulf Breeze, FL, and works with the Studer Group;  And Kristen, who lives in Astoria, New York, and works for Mondo Publishing. In her spare time, Vivian enjoys movies, walking on the beach, and Carolina Basketball!!!
HugoHugo Garnier
Youth and Young Adult Minister
Hugo was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.  His parents are Hispanic immigrants and his first language was Spanish.  From an early age he traveled with his father to Latin American countries and learned to care for those in need.  His heart for missions was developed during these experiences.  Hugo has a BA in Finance Management from Southeastern Louisiana University and he also has 14 years in youth ministry working at Navarre UMC.  He and his wife Mandy have two daughters, Gabé and Aimee.  He enjoys LSU/New Orleans Saints football, soccer, traveling and spending time with his family.
Glenda Melvin
Church Secretary

Glenda Melvin is the wife of retired LCDR Charles Melvin, a Chaplain in the United States Navy. Her husband, Charles, is also a retired United Methodist minister. Together they have 5 children. Glenda enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, crafting and reading.
