Debbie Sealey
Administrative Assistant
I have had the privilege of serving as the administrative assistant of FUMC-Pace since the fall of 2014. It was also my privilege to serve Christ through various ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Goldsboro, NC, for 19 years before moving to Pace. My husband, Richard, and I have been married for 46 years and have six children (two “in-loves”), six grandchildren, one great-“gran” and another on the way. After Richard retired in 2007, we moved to Pace in 2009 to be closer to our children and grandchildren.
Richard and I enjoy leisure time together and have been enjoying exploring the Florida panhandle and Gulf Coast. In my spare time I enjoy reading, knitting and getting together with our family as often as possible.

One of my favorite Scriptures is from the Book of Colossians. I pray it often for my children and grandchildren, my friends, and for Richard and myself. It reads:

“So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy always thanking the Father. (emphasis mine) He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.”

Colossians 1:-9-12 (NLT)

I am very grateful for the opportunity to once again serve Christ and those connected to FUMC-Pace through my work at FUMC-Pace as church administrative assistant.
